UKM collaborated with Goonj for distributing clothes to the people in need.
More than 400 Kg of clothes were collected for the needy people, from in and around Bangalore and UKM coordinated the campaign with Goonj successfully.
This initiative aids to "Save the Environment", and redirects the usage of clothes that could be effectively adapted rather than end up in the landfill that releases the toxic greenhouse gases.
UKM has also collaborated with Proud India during Lockdown.
This effort has immensely helped us to become aware of people with the same mindset and interests directed towards helping underprivileged people in dire times .
We have been able to distribute cooked meal and rations to the people in need.
